Food deliveries to all partner centers

In keeping with its longstanding commitment to orphaned and vulnerable children, the “Cœur à Keur” Foundation continues in 2026 its food assistance programme across all of its partner centres. This initiative aims to contribute to the food security of the children welcomed in these facilities, by ensuring their access to adequate basic nutrition — an essential condition for their personal development, schooling and overall well-being.

In 2026, the Foundation is pleased to welcome a new beneficiary centre: the Foyer Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila, located in Kétou, in the Plateau department. This partnership marks a new milestone in the geographical expansion of the “Cœur à Keur” Foundation’s outreach and impact.

Pediatric consultations in 2026

In 2026, the Cœur à Keur Foundation reaffirms its commitment to the health of vulnerable children by organising paediatric consultations across its partner centres. These consultations aim to provide each child in care with access to basic medical follow-up — often otherwise out of reach — covering in particular the screening of common conditions, the monitoring of growth and nutritional status, as well as referral to specialised care where needed.

Conducted by qualified healthcare professionals, these sessions enable early intervention on health issues likely to hinder children’s schooling, development and overall well-being. They also serve as an opportunity to raise awareness among supervising staff on best practices in hygiene and community health.
