True to its ongoing commitment to the well-being of children in its partner centers, the “Coeur à keur” Foundation continued its quarterly and systematic deliveries of essential foodstuffs in 2025. This year marked a significant milestone with the integration of a new beneficiary: the “Saint Paul Ami des Aveugles” center in Tori laho, which also received its first delivery of provisions, testifying to the continued extension of the Foundation’s action to support a growing number of children.
In March 2025, the “Cœur à Keur” Foundation placed expertise at the heart of its health campaign by entrusting pediatric consultations and nutritional checks to a recognized professional, Professor HOUNNOU Gervais. This collaboration made it possible to successfully carry out a vast initiative in its partner centers, where the state of health of 80 children was assessed and appropriate medical care offered. A rigorous post-consultation follow-up, orchestrated by the recommendations of Professor HOUNNOU Gervais, was put in place to ensure the scrupulous application of medical prescriptions for each beneficiary child.
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote education and bridge the digital divide, the “Cœur à Keur” Foundation has launched a training program in the sound use of IT tools in partner centers equipped with multimedia libraries. This initiative aims to raise children’s awareness of the responsible, safe and educational use of digital technologies, while instilling basic skills. It enables children to familiarize themselves with IT tools, learn how to carry out useful research, protect their personal data and develop the digital autonomy that is essential in today’s world.
From May to June 2025, the “Cœur à Keur” Foundation organized practical first aid training courses for children at its partner centers and their supervisors. The aim of these sessions was to equip participants with the essential skills to respond effectively to emergency situations such as illness, injury, or accidents in the home. Led by experienced firefighters, the sessions taught life–saving techniques—alerting, protecting, resuscitating—while emphasizing prevention and collective responsibility. This initiative is part of the Foundation’s mission to promote not only education, but also the health and safety of the communities it supports.
In July 2025, the “Cœur à Keur” Foundation hosted artistic expression and public speaking sessions led by Mr. Raouf MAMA, an internationally renowned storyteller, trainer, teacher, and author. These workshops provided children and young participants with a space for learning and discovery, where they could develop their self–confidence, creativity, and ability to express themselves in public. Through practical exercises and role-playing, participants learned to use speech and art as a means of promoting their identity and sharing their stories.
